Cape Escape

My husband and I have spent a lot of time this summer at my parents’ Cape house. There is nothing better then relaxing on the beach or enjoying a fresh seafood dinner. I never want to leave! Cape Cod is also a very beautiful and popular wedding destination. Are you having a wedding on the Cape? Then check out these invitations inspired by my Cape Escapes.

Let’s start off with this super fun wedding suite designed by Paul Andrews and gocco printed by Kate Hibbs. This certainly isn’t your typical Cape Cod wedding invitation and that’s what I love about it. I love the bright colors and hand drawn elements, especially the Cape map.

Style Me Pretty

This next invitation by Paperwhites Press is very different from the one above, but equally as stunning. Inspired by the beautiful hydrangea flower, this invitation is more classic Cape Cod. I’m in love with hydrangea blue and I think it’s perfect for an elegant Cape Cod wedding.

What’s a Cape Cod wedding without a lobster or clam bake?  These next invitations are so fun and perfect for a casual rehearsal dinner.

The lobster bib is such a fun and creative way to let your guests know to save the date!

These illustrated escort cards are the perfect addition to a nautical themed wedding on the Cape.

And finally, Red Turtle Invitations recently designed this tri-fold invitation for Laura and Kevin. Their wedding is taking place in Hull (which is close proximity to Cape Cod) and are getting married in just a few short weeks! The couple wanted to include the waves and the lighthouse that can be seen from their venue.

I hope you have all been inspired. I certainly have and I’m now even more excited to head to the Cape this weekend!
